CODEX RESET WIKI

How to Check Codex Usage and Your Reset Time

Your own client or account is the right place to find your remaining allowance. This website does not have access to it.

Check your current client

In an interactive Codex CLI session, use /status to inspect your session. Read the actual limit information your version returns; do not assume a particular window must be present. The official command documentation is linked below.

In other Codex surfaces, open the account usage or analytics view available to you. Interface labels can change, so use the information your account actually shows.

Copy the displayed recovery time

If a reset date and time is shown, note its timezone. Enter that exact time in the personal timer. Do not calculate a guaranteed reset by adding five hours or seven days to a guessed starting point.

If no recovery time is displayed, this tool cannot discover it for you. It is better to leave the timer unset than to use an invented date.

Keep the reminder private

Your personal timer stays in local browser storage. A calendar export creates an event that you can import into your calendar application. The event includes a 15-minute warning; actual delivery depends on your calendar settings.

The page alarm requires notification permission and an open page. Closing the page stops this local alarm. It is not a background global-reset subscription.
